I found this curious memo in a box of items I had taken with me from a previous job. For some reason it made me laugh. The job was mix of cynical veterans [and by veterans I mean people who had been at the job for more than six months] and confused rookies. Management often liked to communicate with the staff with funny memos. I guess you had to be there.

This is an FYI on an issue that may arise over the weekend with Concordance. There is a group of people who will be working in a database called “APOLLO”. Because of the large number of people in this database we may get calls about locked files. Since a lot of you haven’t or forgot how to unlock Concordance files I wanted to give you a heads up.

You know, I think he has a good point. Let’s try to find a way for computer users of all backgrounds to get along. And with that, I’d also like to be the next president of the UnUnited States of America.
