hee…i’m trying to understand … is it a southern thing?
you know canadians really get a kick out of stuff like this - popular segment from a tv show was called ‘talking to americans‘. maybe it makes us feel better about living in the freezing cold for over half the year and not having our very own paris hilton :)

    Iris,

this was really funny. I used to live in Michigan so seeing John Engler get his arse handed to him was pretty funny!

I saw her on Youtube and ya know, I really can’t help but feel sorry for the girl. I know it wasn’t a horribly difficult question, but man, I’m glad I wasn’t her. What i find amazing was that she still placed pretty high (fourth i think) and she was on the Today Show, The Tonight Show and the MTV Video Awards, so I guess it worked out for her in the end!

The girl was obviously sophisticated enough to know that the definite article accompanies the word “Iraq” in Arabic.

It must be Ramadan ‘cuz you’re very kind.

Thanks, Marc. I hope everything’s going well in the Philly.
