Philly Shots - Low-Fi Shots IV
October 27, 2006 | 04 Shawwal 1427

Okay, so this is kinda silly but I needed some escape’ism today at work. I’ve continued the camera phone shenanigans. Hard to believe this thing is only 1.3 megapixels (amazing what you can do with Photoshop). Have a chuckle. Enjoy.

This is a really nicely done photo. Nice hat too! I’m supposing the hat is from Gap?

I got a really nice leather jacket from Gap, and gave it away, and I’ve never been able to find another jacket like it.

Actually, nothing in that photo is from the Gap. I don’t shop there often as they don’t make tall-sized stuff. I think I got the hat at target (wish I had bought two cuz everyone thinks it’s such neat hat). Thanks for the complements. I have been messing around with my camera phone, which I had traditionally thought of as nothing but junk. But now I have little free time to go out and photograph with my “real” cameras, I’ve resorted to using it. What about you? What are you shooting these days? Salaams and Eid mubarik.

Salaams to you also and hope you had a wonderful Eid :-)

Nothing actually at the moment. I’ve lost my camera, and I’m planning to buy another. I’m thinking along the lines of a canon digital camera. That way I can “fix” up the photos when they turn out really bad.

I’m in no way a photographer. My blog features the beautiful talents of others, but I love photos. I can spend hours just looking at photos and pictures. And I enjoy coming to your blog looking at your work. I’m surprised that some of these pictures are coming off of a camera phone. I would not have expected it to take such good pictures.

I’m thinking of taking a photography class in the future because I really want to learn. But it doesn’t mean taking a class will make me a photographer but I can try.

May Allah bless you in your talent and thanks for sharing it with us.

I’ll be stopping back regularly :-)

    Wa Salaam
