   As-Salaamu ‘alaikum,

   Might I suggest that you change your permalink format so that they become more meaningful? The means to do this is under the Options, then under Permalinks, in the WP admin. You may even be able to produce links more or less identical to those on your old Blogger blog, so that any inward links still work.

   I will look into it. It says I must update my .htaccess file and when I do so that causes some isses. Thanks for the tip.

   Marqas,
   I am mostly a visual mind, not too techy, but the contrast on your new site template works very, very with your B&W images. Intricate detail is also appealing in your background image. Thanks for the link.

   This caused problems on mine as well when I was at my old host. The way round it is to include index.php in the locations, so http://www.blogistan.co.uk/blog/2004/04/09/post-title would become http://www.blogistan.co.uk/blog/index.php/2004/ and so on. So it will call index.php and pass the rest of the location onto Wordpress to handle.

   Hooray! I figured out how to change the permalinks! Had to get into my .htaccess file [which I had no clue how to do but read WordPress’s forums and figured it out - thanks WP forums]. Now, there’s WWW-friendly permalinks. Ciao.
