Time Is Cruising By

Man, time is just whipping by this week. I can’t believe that tomorrow’s Thursday. Week’s almost done. I’ve been so wrapped up in learning my stuff at the new gig as well as the apartment hunt that I almost forget to sleep and eat.
I got introduced, formally, to the department today. It went well. I had to talk about myself for about 10 or 15 minutes (I know! No way I could condense myself to 15 minutes. Funny, I was just thinking the same thing!). There’s a good vibe here. People are earnest in their desire to not only do their jobs but to make the work environment enjoyable and livable. I have already hit it off with a few folks, I think, and given time, I’ll find my groove - where I fit it. But for now, it’s just basic learning, getting all the new terminology down and digested.
Other than that, things are swell, I guess. I’ve had the hardest time trying to find a pair of shoes for my Herman Munster feet. Few places carry a 14 or a 15 and when they do they’re moccasin’s or something completely useless like that.
Well, I’m gonna chill at my brother’s crib and chat with Scott, who just completed a really cool piece for the MTV Music Awards (Europe). Get at me.
