OHR
October 28, 2005 | 25 Ramadhan 1426
Today, I graciously accepted my position at U-Penn with the OHR - Office of Human Research. I’m the new Operations Specialist (I like the sound of that - makes me think I’ll be apart of some secret splinter cell operation). I went in today to inspect my new desk, pick out my computer as well as sign more paper work than any man should ever have to. The staff all seem to be a really cheery group of people and I’m honored that I’ve been chosen from so many applicants to work with them. Stop on by if you’re ever on campus. We’re at 150 Anatomy-Chemistry Building (the ACB).

Congrats Marc. I’m glad you found some full-time employment to tie you down for awhile. With your spirit, you’re liable to be in Algeria by June…but in the mean time, enjoy the new gig. I don’t know how job market is in Phila but here in Detroit man, jobs are PRECIOUS! I hope the city of brotherly love treats you kinds. Seems like you got a good support network out there and a good head on your shoulders which is important.
Stay up player..
If it’s God’s will, I’ll be visiting you out there soon.

Hey Marc,
hope your new job goes great for you! Here things are cool, missing Mexico and working towards finishing my degrees in Rural Sociology and Latin American Studies in May! I’m going down there to visit friends in december, which I am looking forward to.
Take care! Therese
