2004 - The Year of Change
December 31, 2004 | 19 Dhul-Qadah 1425

Lunch at the Lafayette Coney Island Diner, downtown DetroitNo other year so far in my relatively short life has been so full of change and upheaval as has been 2004. I have traveled from the North of the U.S. to México. From Wisconsin to Santa Barbara to San Francisco, back to Madison, down to Durham, N. C., up to D.C., continuing on to Philly, rounding back through Detroit and now, for this New Year’s, back in Madison. And that’s not even the good parts of the story! There have also been tremendous upheavals in my personal life and the ongoing pursuit of a dream, which continues to this day. Old friends gone, new ones come. I’ve seen new faces and visit old familiar ones. Perhaps I’ll put it all down to ink and paper when I have the time and motivation. So for now, it’s so long and good-bye, 2004. You will forever be dog-eared in the strange little book that is my life. 2005, what fortunes do you have to offer? Will you answer any questions or pose more? More likely the later. See you in 2005.
