2004 - The Year of Change
December 31, 2004 | 19 Dhul-Qadah 1425

Lunch at the Lafayette Coney Island Diner, downtown DetroitNo other year so far in my relatively short life has been so full of change and upheaval as has been 2004. I have traveled from the North of the U.S. to MĂ©xico. From Wisconsin to Santa Barbara to San Francisco, back to Madison, down to Durham, N. C., up to D.C., continuing on to Philly, rounding back through Detroit and now, for this New Year’s, back in Madison. And that’s not even the good parts of the story! There have also been tremendous upheavals in my personal life and the ongoing pursuit of a dream, which continues to this day. Old friends gone, new ones come. I’ve seen new faces and visit old familiar ones. Perhaps I’ll put it all down to ink and paper when I have the time and motivation. So for now, it’s so long and good-bye, 2004. You will forever be dog-eared in the strange little book that is my life. 2005, what fortunes do you have to offer? Will you answer any questions or pose more? More likely the later. See you in 2005.

Just Back From the ‘D’
December 30, 2004 | 18 Dhul-Qadah 1425

Michael and I just returned from our 4-day trip to Detroit. It was fun. It was cool. We had conies. We had a blast. Some good images were captured. More to come shortly. I’m getting the wi-fi hooked up in the house right now. Needless to say, the trip was a dream come true (okay, that’s heavy, but how’z ’bout a little dream?) for us. One down. Many Moore to go.

Good Lookin’ Out
December 23, 2004 | 11 Dhul-Qadah 1425

Dave! Sarah! It’s cool to know that there are good people in the world. And you guys are most certainly two of them. I had fun taking in more grease in one night with you guys than I can remember. I hope we can meet up again. Be cool and stay warm! Winter officially sucks and has been outlawed in my book.
