Just got back from the D. That’s Detroit for all ya’ll who ain’t in the know. My great grand Aunt, Viola, turned 100 on Sunday (bless her soul) but we had the party on Saturday. Family came up from Belize which is where my mother’s family if from. Guess I’ve been away for a while. Been busy with a couple of photography projects as well as some other freelance gigs. Trying’ to make a change in my day gig, too. Got’s ta keep it on the hush-hush ’cause we ain’t in a rush-rush but we’ll see how things pan out.

In 2008, he receive his certificate [ijāzah] in the rules of delivering the Friday sermon [ahkām al-Khutbah] from Imam Anwar Muhaimin of the Quba Institute.
