What Ever Happened To Caffeine Being Okay?
October 30, 2003 | 05 Ramadhan 1424

Okay, so I’m down gettin’ some tea ’cause I’m about to fall over from monitor fatigue and guess what? There’s no freakin’ tea with caffeine!! I mean, what the hell? Have all the tree hugging/whale saving hippies completely foiled my chances of getting a jolt? It’s my God-given right to abuse my body in any way I feel or choose. So the next time I see one of those hemp-wearing bastards I’m gonna shove a handful of high octane coffee beans straight down their throats. And oh, yeah, I ain’t puttin’ on no freakin’ costume tomorrow either. Cheers.

Melting Down the Server Room
October 24, 2003 | 28 Shaban 1424

Just found out that the fire extinguishers in the server room are not compliant, meaning that the foam from them would actually melt the plastic casings of all the machines down there. Awe, sweet!! I can’t wait for our next fire drill. Guess we’ll all be taking a few days off.

The Return of El Camino
October 23, 2003 | 27 Shaban 1424

I’m a happy camper, oh I’m a happy camper. Just downloaded Camino, the tiny little browser that can. Designed for OS X, Camino is fast and furious. Careful, though. It’s still in the beta stage. None the less, it appears to be a nice little app. Cheers :::

You Had Best Respect, Boy!
October 23, 2003 | 27 Shaban 1424

Fortune Santa left me a fortune today. I feel my head swelling with the prospects of my new fortune. Perhaps the next one will say, "You will soon be hated by someone you despise", or "You will soon swallow the food you are chewing." Very prophetic.

Tip o’ the hat to ALA and Dan Benjamin for hipping me to the new PHP script you see running on Manrilla.net now. The script will rotate the top-banner logo at the top of the home page. See for yourself by reloading the page. I will implement this site-wide as soon as I have time.

No, No, A 1,000 Times No!
October 22, 2003 | 26 Shaban 1424

"No." "Ah, no." "Absolutely not." "We’d really love to but we just can’t." "No, we don’t have dozens of CD-RW drives downstairs for you." "I know this really sucks but you’ll just have to wait." "What?" "Say that again?" "Who?" "He said What?" "Okay, okay." "Excuse me for a minute…" "TOOOOMMMM!!!!!"

Pentagon To Have Its Own Jihad
October 22, 2003 | 26 Shaban 1424

In an effort not be out done by other extremists, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, has appointed Jerry Boykin to the rank of 3-star general. Boykin, known for his left-leaning tolerance for all religions has issued such Martin Luther King’ish statements as: “(They hate us) because we’re a Christian nation. . .” “We are hated because we are a nation of believers.” - Damn straight!! Those pesky Christians. Move over John Walker Lindh, here comes Jerry Boykin. Read more about the military’s own plans for their own Jihad :::
